How much of the racism is also based on class? Like you mentioned before it seems like the racism is also held by some Syrians against Syrian workers and even by some in Hezbullah against Syrians. Could this simply be a case of the One ups vs. the one downs?

I don’t think if racism is based on class that makes it a simple argument, I think it is a whole argument of nationalism constructions, identity constructions, enhanced by historical conflicts. You know I'm doing a research about racism anyway, we'll see how it goes.

golaniya, you're right it is very complicated, and i think it has a psychological bu3d kaman, where the person who feels and expresses a racist sentiment has a problem himself, whether that originates form the mob-group he belongs to or from his own individual psychological issues.
IBJ, yes i agree with you, actually when it comes to psychology i have a theory that no one is actually healthy, i think it is impossible to be psychologically healthy :S
hmmm, you made me thinking, psychology should be another approach to racism in my research, khalas the racism post will be huge :D
